Day 5 (2018.06.07)

The struggle is real. Each night has been a battle to maintain the one hour meditation, and I had to give up a couple of times when I was falling asleep on my cushion over the half way mark. Only my blanket saved me from the wall.

That said, I didn’t give in right away.

Each time I would try for another minute, then another. I know my night sit was where I slowly lost my practice, but I am good this time around as long as I fought for it each time.

The volition is what matters most – the determination will become strong with training each night.
